Kyrgyzstan to host Turkic States AI Summit

The Turkic States Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit will take place on October 9-10, 2024, in Bishkek, AzVision.az reports, citing the Digital Development Ministry of Kyrgyzstan.

The two-day innovative event will bring together government officials, leading AI experts, the business community, and the IT sector from Turkic countries, Central Asia, and around the world.

The Summit will serve as a unique platform for discussing the latest achievements in AI, sharing experiences, and developing strategies to accelerate the adoption of AI in governance, business, and social initiatives.

Participants in the Summit will include representatives from the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS): Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkiye.
Turkmenistan and Hungary will attend with observer status.

Key objectives of the Summit:
– Developing AI strategies in the Turkic world.
– Promoting innovation and technological progress in OTS countries.
– Leveraging AI to preserve and advance Turkic languages.
– Strengthening economic, scientific, and technical cooperation in AI.
– Attracting investment into AI projects and startups.
– Addressing ethical and legal issues related to AI use.
