The events featured B2B (business-to-business) seminars attended by over 300 participants. Azerbaijan was represented by 13 local partners, including the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), and Shahdag Tourism Center CJSC, AzVision.az reports, citing the State Tourism Agency.
During the meetings, Azerbaijan's tourism potential was presented, highlighting winter mountain resorts, health tourism, nature tourism, luxury tourism segments, and the country's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Information about business tourism opportunities, Baku, and other regions of Azerbaijan was also shared with local tourism companies.
From January to August of this year, 26,866 people from China visited Azerbaijan, an almost twofold increase compared to the same period last year.
