Azerbaijani FM  meets with Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with the Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic within the 70th Annual Session of the UN General Assembly.

Portuguese minister noted, huge opportunities exist to enhance relations between Azerbaijan and Portugal, especially cooperation in tourism sphere could be mutually beneficial for both sides, AzVision.az reports citing the official web page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Elmar Mammadyarov said, policy conducted by Azerbaijan is a good sample of accomplishment of Millennium Development Goals for various structural bodies of the United Nations.Moreover, despite the economic recession in the world, dynamic development trends in the non-oil sector has been observed this year in Azerbaijan, Foreign minister added.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said, biased resolution adopted in the European Parliament is a result of deliberate anti Azerbaijan and islomophobic policy pursued by several states represented in that organization.

Two ministers exchanged views on international migration, global terrorist networks as well as the non-constructive, aggressive policy of Armenia regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and its negative impact on the negotiation process.
