The event, which will last from September 30 to October 4, will form the basis of the climate agenda amid preparations for COP29, AzVision.az reports.
BCAW brings together all interested parties from civil society and media and from various fields such as politics, finance, trade, investment, science, art, and culture.
The official opening ceremony of the event is attended by the Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 High-Level Champion Nigar Arpadarai, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, other officials and foreign guests.
After the official opening ceremony, the Baku Climate Action Week will continue with panels on various areas.
