Azerbaijan, Belarus sign “Roadmap” on healthcare cooperation

As part of the official visit of Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov to the Republic of Belarus, the two countries signed documents on cooperation in a number of areas, including the healthcare.

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health Teymur Musayev and Minister of Health of Belarus Aliaksandr Khajayeu signed the Program ("Roadmap") on cooperation for 2024-2025" between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

The roadmap envisages cooperation in exchange of academic and scientific experience, training of medical personnel, pharmaceutical industry, digitalization of healthcare systems.

The document also includes exchange of experience and trainings with specialists and physicians engaged in medical oncology, transplantology, cardiology, neurosurgery, as well as cooperation with scientific and research institutions and centers.
