Inam Karimov: Success of ASAN centers closely connected with Ilham Aliyev`s care
"ASAN centers created in line with the decree of President Ilham Aliyev of 13 July 2012 have shortly gained great popularity in the country. Over 800,000 of our citizens have already used the services of the centers.
The statement came from chairman of the State Agency for Services to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov, speaking at the first session of the youth organizations of ASAN volunteers.

He reminded that the first centers of ASAN started offering services to the residents of Baku and Sumgayit and regions were provided with mobile centers. “The ASAN center in Ganja that will be open not only to the residents of this city but also the adjacent regions, totally, up to a million of people, will be a new step in this direction”, the head of the state committee said.

He noted that the ASAN centers combine the services of nine state structures in 25 directions. “The successes of the ASAN centers are closely connected with the attention of President Ilham Aliyev. The centers seek to meet the citizens’ demands qualitatively and operatively and all efforts are directed to this. Our slogan is to serve the people”, Karimov said noting that new approaches to forming relations between the state officials and citizens are mostly connected with ASAN.

He noted that special attention in the activity of the centers is paid to norms of ethical conduct which is based on the principle ‘A citizen is always right’.

Karimov said that this is all possible thanks to the highly professional staff potential of ASAN centers. All the same, young volunteers who also accumulate an important work experience in the sphere of activity of the state structures.

He said the work in ASAN centers is an important stage in the career stage of volunteers.

In conclusion, the head of the State Center drew attention to the activity of ASAN page on Facebook which accounts for over 100,000 subscribers.
