Azerbaijani judokas delivered outstanding performances at the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 in Manama, securing a total of 13 medals.
On the final day of the competition, Mahammad Aghakishiyev claimed gold in the men’s 73kg weight division. Said Sharifov (73kg), Amin Mehdiyev (81kg), and Said Huseynov (90kg) each earned silver in their respective weight categories, while Diana Eldarova (57kg) and Subhan Akhundov (90kg) took bronze.
In total, Azerbaijan achieved a medal haul of two gold, four silver, and seven bronze medals over the two days of competition.
