He said Azerbaijan and China were reliable partners and friends, and that China praises Azerbaijan`s beneficial cooperation and friendship.
The diplomat expressed his confidence the relations between the two states would further develop.
On behalf of Azerbaijani government, Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov congratulated the participants and wished the Chinese people peace and tranquillity.
The Minister said China was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence and highlighted steadily developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.
According to the Minister, the reciprocal visits and the documents signed have greatly contributed to further deepening relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijan and China permanently support each other in international organizations. The Minister thanked China for support in settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the principles and norms of international law.
The event was attended by officials of state and government, MPs, public representatives.
