Azerbaijani powerlifter crowned seven-time world champion

Azerbaijani powerlifter crowned seven-time world champion

Azerbaijani powerlifter Zaur Jafarov achieved a remarkable victory at the World Cup AWPC/WPC/WPSO-A/WPSO 2024 held in Moscow, Russia, securing the title for the seventh time.

He claimed glory in the bench press event, lifting 320kg.

Jafarov also earned the title of "Elite Athlete" for the third time.
