Iran appoints new ambassador to Armenia
The Foreign Ministry`s Director General for Iranian Expatriates` Affairs Seyyed Kazem Sajjadi will become new Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, the Iranian Fars News agency said Sept.29.
Sajjadi will replace Mohammad Raisi at this post, the agency said.

The new Iranian ambassador to Armenia will assume his duties at the end of the week.

Sajjadi has been working in the Iranian foreign ministry since 1983.

Previously, he worked in various positions at the diplomatic missions of Iran in the Philippines, Greece, India and Malaysia.
