Turkic-speaking countries sign several economic memorandums
Astana hosted the fifth meeting of economy ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries. Several memorandums were signed following this meeting, the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy said Sept. 29.
The memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the field of investment statistics, on the possibilities of experience exchange in the investment sphere were signed between the state bodies of the member-countries of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking Countries and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the public small and medium enterprises of the member-countries of the Turkic Council.

Turkish Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Imanaliyev, as well as Deputy Secretary General of Turkic Council Omer Kochaman attended the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting included the strengthening of multilateral trade and economic cooperation of the member-states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries, as well as the interaction of working groups to improve the investment sphere, economic diversification, development of entrepreneurship, the creation of a joint investment fund.

During the meeting, Kazakh minister of national economy Yerbolat Dossayev offered Turkic-speaking countries to reduce barriers in mutual trade for the development of trade relations.
The Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
