President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier plans to make a decision on the dissolution of the Bundestag on December 27, Spokeswoman for the Federal President Cerstin Gammelin said on X, AzVision.az reports.
“In recent days, I have held talks with the leaders of parliamentary factions and groups in the Bundestag to make sure that there is no longer any prospect of creating a stable parliamentary majority for the German government. I intend to make a decision on dissolving the Bundestag on December 27, 2024, in accordance with Article 68 of the Basic Law,” Gammelin wrote, quoting Steinmeier.
