Rwandan delegation visits “ASAN Xidmet” Center in Baku

A delegation led by Juliana Muganza, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), who is on visit to Azerbaijan, visited the "ASAN Xidmet" center in Baku, AzVision.az reports.

The main purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the concept of applying Azerbaijan's "ASAN service" model in Rwanda.

During the meeting, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, informed the Rwandan delegation about the "ASAN Xidmet" centers, established on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as other activities of the Agency.

Ulvi Mehdiyev noted that with the application of the most advanced information technologies, these Centers provide efficient and transparent access to key public and private services for citizens, foreign residents, as well as legal entities in the Republic of Azerbaijan. He emphasized that "ASAN service" maintains cooperation with more than 20 countries and international organizations aimed at sharing its experience in the relevant field.

The chairman of the State Agency highlighted Azerbaijan’s readiness to share the advanced experience with the other party in applying the "ASAN Xidmet" concept in Rwanda. The Rwandan side took the initiative to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the relevant sphere.

The Rwandan delegation also familiarized themselves with the activities of "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, “Mobile Asan Xidmet”, "ABAD", "Bilim Baku" center, 108 Call Center and ASAN Radio/TV.
