The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan held another meeting on Saturday, chaired by Mazahir Panahov.
During the meeting, the protocol from the December 18 session was approved.
The meeting saw discussions and approval of the text, format, number and rule of preparation of the ballot papers for the municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025. Based on the requirements of the Election Code, the Central Election Commission decided to prepare 6,052,721 (six million fifty two thousand seven hundred and twenty one) ballot papers under the supervision of 3 representative members of the Commission.
The meeting also addressed the registration of the authorized members of the Republican Alternative Party, White Party, Future Azerbaijan Party, Justice Party, Unity Party, Right Justice Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Free Motherland Party, Modern Musavat Party, and New Time Party.
Media representatives attended the meeting, which included extensive discussions on current issues and amendments to the composition of constituencies of several district election commissions.
