  Haber Global: AZAL plane

There are still many questions related to the plane crash that remain to be answered, Suheyla Demir, the head of world news desk, said on Turkish TV channel Haber Global, AzVision.az reports.

She noted that one of the most mysterious aspects is the fact that despite Ukrainian UAV attacks, Chechnya did not close its airspace: "This shows negligence. Secondly, Chechnya has been attacked by drones several times this month. Official statements were made about these incidents each time. However, this time the situation was ignored as if nothing happened. Moreover, the plane wasn't allowed to land at Russian airports. Perhaps they were preparing grounds for the vehicle to fall into the Caspian Sea."

According to Demir, the failure of the GPS system on board the aircraft is also suspicious and mysterious: "After the crash, the Russian side spread information about the plane colliding with a flock of birds. But there were no blood traces on the plane. Russia may have been trying to divert attention. Russia should apologize and punish those responsible for the incident. It's obvious that traveling to Russia is dangerous at the moment."
