Ukraine extends martial law and mobilization

Ukraine extends martial law and mobilization

The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) supported the extension of martial law and general mobilization in the country, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said.

As many as 315 members of parliament voted in favor of extending martial law, while 310 parliamentarians supported the extension of general mobilization, AzVision.az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

This is the 14th consecutive decision to extend martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. They will be in effect from February 8 to May 9, 2025.
