On September 30, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the World Organization of the Scout Movement Joao Armando Gonçalves and its Secretary-General Scott Teare.
The hosting of the 41st conference of World Scout Movement and the 13th World Scout Youth Forum are of great importance for the organization. According to him, the event should be attended by more than a thousand representatives from 150 countries.
In turn, Aliyev stressed the special importance of the decision to conduct these activities in Azerbaijan.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the decision to hold the above mentioned events in Eurasia, in Azerbaijan for the first time.
