"This will be a completely new platform, it will be a compressor platform designed to capture low-pressure gas from some layers of the Shah Deniz field and deliver it to the Sangachal terminal," said Bayatly.
Bayatly noted that the new platform construction project will be presented to the public next week, and in the third week of February, there will be public hearings on the environmental impact assessment report for the platform construction.
"The Final Investment Decision (FID) will be made this year," said Bayatly.
The head of the press service added that the platform will operate without human presence.
"Low-pressure gas from Alpha and Bravo platforms will be collected here and, after pressure increase, will be directed to the Sangachal terminal," she added.
According to Bayatly, the platform construction will require billions of investments.
