Syria's transitional President Ahmad al-Sharaa will discuss bilateral cooperation issues with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Ankara, AzVision.az reports citing Turkish media.
The meeting will address issues of PKK elimination, transfer of occupied oil and gas fields to central administration, withdrawal of the US troops from the region, and transfer of Turkish bases to the Syrian army.
Al-Sharaa and Erdogan are expected to sign several bilateral cooperation agreements, and the new Syrian leader will also officially invite his counterpart to visit Damascus.
