Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, visited the "ASAN Xidmet" center in Baku on Wednesday to familiarize himself with its activities.
During the meeting, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, briefed the President of Somalia on the "ASAN Xidmet" centers, established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as projects in the area of social innovations.
Ulvi Mehdiyev highlighted that "ASAN Xidmet" collaborates with over 20 countries. The meeting also included a presentation of the "ASAN Xidmet" model.
Impressed by the service’s impact, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud emphasized that "ASAN Xidmet," established through the personal initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, plays a crucial role in ensuring public access to services. He noted the high level of proficiency and efficiency in public service, underlining that the service provides the people with a great opportunity to quickly address their needs.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for innovating public services in Somalia based on Azerbaijan's experience and for the support provided in this regard.
The Somali delegation also toured the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, the “Mobile ASAN Xidmet,” and the "ABAD" Public Legal Entity.
