On March 11, she will take part in the Azerbaijani-Spanish business forum and hold a number of meetings. Representatives of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) are expected to participate in the Azerbaijani-Spanish business forum, AzVision.az informs, citing Report news agency.
The Azerbaijani-Spanish business forum will be held within the trade mission of the Trade and Economic Office of Spain and the Spanish Manufacturers – Exporters Association of Agricultural Machinery and its Components, Greenhouses, Nutrition and Plant Health (AGRAGEX).
The main goal of the mission is to study the business opportunities of Azerbaijan in the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors. Spanish companies will have the opportunity to enter the Azerbaijani market or expand their presence, which will contribute to the development of cooperation and strengthening of business ties between the countries.
The mission will include companies operating in the fields of irrigation, greenhouse farming, plant protection products, plant and animal nutrition and health, as well as other related industries. According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, in 2024, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $309.87 million, decreasing by 65.12%.
At the same time, imports from Spain increased by 41.73% to $146.18 million, while exports from Azerbaijan decreased by 79.16% to $163.7 million.
