Baku to host World Telecommunication Development Conference

Baku to host World Telecommunication Development Conference

For the first time in the history of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the World Telecommunication Development Conference will be held in Azerbaijan, ITU Regional Director Natalia Mochu said at the reporting event of the Online Azerbaijan project, AzVision.az reports.

“From November 17 to 28, Baku will host a landmark event for the global digital community – the World Telecommunication Development Conference. The entire ITU ecosystem will gather to discuss key challenges and prospects for digital connectivity. Our goal is not only to ensure the availability, reliability and security of the connection, but also to make it truly meaningful so that the Internet brings real benefits to people,” Mochu added.
