Work on Türkiye’s section of Zangezur corridor to begin in coming months

Work on the 224-kilometer section of the Zangezur Corridor passing through Türkiye is set to begin in the coming months, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced during a speech at Istanbul Technical University.

According to Anadolu Agency, Uraloğlu highlighted that Azerbaijan is also making progress on its segment of the corridor, reinforcing regional connectivity efforts.

The minister also emphasized the significance of the Middle Corridor, stating: “Türkiye is the key transit hub of the Middle Corridor. Significant investments have already been made in this route, and we are now focused on further strengthening it.”

The Zangezur Corridor is expected to enhance trade and transport links across the region, contributing to economic growth and infrastructure development.
