Azerbaijan set to establish Artificial Intelligence Academy

An Artificial Intelligence Academy will be established in Azerbaijan to improve talent and skills in artificial intelligence, according to the "Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025–2028" approved by President Ilham Aliyev today, AzVision.az reports. 

Within the framework of the strategy, it is planned to ensure cooperation in teaching artificial intelligence with at least 2 prestigious foreign universities (ranked in the top 10 in the world rankings) within the framework of the activities of the Artificial Intelligence Academy in 2026-2027, train 500 engineers in the field of artificial intelligence, and form an artificial intelligence community of 3,000 people.

At the same time, it aims to launch a competition platform to strengthen human resource potential in artificial intelligence and data management, create a platform for information and resources related to artificial intelligence, have 500 employees from various state bodies (institutions) graduate from the "Artificial Intelligence for Managers" training, increase the number of users on the interactive training platform to 10,000, and hold 10 competitions with a total of 1,000 users on the competition platform.
