Answering Zahid Oruj’s question, Sharifov said that former management of the International Bank made serious mistakes: “Therefore, the former management has been dismissed. An investigation is currently underway. That’s true, bank’s former management signed risky projects without guarantee. International Bank of Azerbaijan has not complied with the requirements of the Central Bank. However, this is the biggest bank of Caucasus. The population have large sum of deposit in it. The head of state issued a decree for normalization of this bank. For the present, the troubled assets are managed by other state body”.
