More than 20 diplomatic missions accredited in Mexico presented samples of national culture, including cuisine, music and dance numbers, at the fair.
The event, which aroused great interest among Mexico City residents, featured samples of Azerbaijani national culture, including national costumes, handicrafts such as pottery and copper making, carpet weaving, as well as traditional dishes.
Visitors were provided with detailed information about the history, culture and national cuisine of Azerbaijan, and various printed materials were distributed.
The Azerbaijani stand aroused wide interest and was warmly welcomed by the participants.
The opening of the event was attended by the head of the Miguel Hidalgo municipality, the president of the ACD, other Mexican officials, residents of the capital, tourists, representatives of the diplomatic corps and local media.
