The agreement envisages for rehabilitation and creation of short-term, mid-term and long-term action plan as part of a national strategy on hard waste management and unification of legislation with international standards and etc. in order to ensure operation of Balakhani landfill for the coming 20 years, according to the Economy and Industry Ministry.
The agreement was signed by Economy and Industry Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and WB Country Manager Larisa Leshenko.
