At Least 7 Injured in Blast at China Chemical Plant
At least seven people were injured in a blast at a chemical plant in the Chinese city of Shaoxing in the eastern province of Zhejiang, Chinese Central Television (CCTV) reported on Monday.
According to the CCTV, the blast occurred at 9:52 a.m. local time (01:52 GMT). At the moment, about 70 firefighters are involved in tackling the fire, while the seven workers of the plant had been sent to hospital.

A warehouse with some 55 tons of sodium chlorate and other highly flammable substances is located near the site of the fire, according to media reports.

In August, several blasts took place at the country’s chemical plants and industrial warehouses, resulting in people`s deaths.
