The number of people injured in the hurricane in Kazakhstan has risen to 16, including three children, reads a message from the Akimat (local executive branch of government) of the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan, AzVision.az reports, citing Kazakh media.
"One fatal case - a resident of Aksu died - born in 1968," the Akimat said.
It is noted that the wind speed reached 43 meters per second. The elements caused significant damage to infrastructure, caused power outages, and cases of injuries among the population were recorded. In the regional center, the roofs of 47 facilities were damaged, including six social institutions.
