The Azerbaijan rhythmic gymnastics team in group exercises delivered an outstanding performance at the 32nd World University Games of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, grabbing a gold medal, AzVision.az reports.
The Team Azerbaijan, including gymnasts Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Gullu Aghalarzade, clinched the medal by picking total of 50,500 points for two events - 26,350 points for three balls and two hoops, and 24,150 points for five ribbons exercises.
The competition will run until July 27.
