During a joint press briefing with his Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov highlighted both one-on-one and expanded meetings held with the Georgian side. Discussions focused on regional and global security issues, as well as the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“In this context, I also briefed my counterpart on the meeting between the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia held in Abu Dhabi on July 10, and on the existing positive dynamics,” Minister Bayramov stated. “We believe there are good prospects for peace with Armenia. However, clear steps must be taken in this direction - steps which Armenia has yet to take.”
