Gazprom confirms plans to construct only two lines of Turkish Stream
Russian gas giant Gazprom is confirming its plans to construct not more than two lines of the Turkish Stream, its Chief Executive Officer Alexey Miller said on Tuesday.
"Russia plans not more than two lines," Miller said.

Earlier he said the virtual annual capacity of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline may total not more than 32 bln cubic meters.

Russia and Turkey are now developing details of the intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline project. Both sides have received documents concerning the intergovernmental agreement and are now working on details. After technical part is finalized the project will be specified.

As TASS reported earlier Russia considers reasonable to sign the intergovernmental agreement with Turkey on the Turkish Stream pipeline on 2 lines at one stroke though the final number has not been yet confirmed.

The signing of the intergovernmental agreement with Turkey on the Turkish Stream may be delayed till December-January. Early parliamentary elections are scheduled for November 1, after that new government will be formed. Then Russia and Turkey will discuss certain aspects of the agreement.
