Türkiye will host the Fifth Meeting of Energy Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Istanbul on December 9–10, 2025.
The event, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, will include bilateral meetings of ministers to review ongoing cooperation and explore new opportunities.
The gathering will bring together the OTS Secretariat, as well as member and observer countries of the organization.
The two-day program will feature a technical session of the OTS Energy Working Group and a ministerial session chaired by Minister Alparslan Bayraktar.
Discussions will cover a broad range of energy topics, including renewable energy, oil and natural gas, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, smart grid technologies, energy storage, hydrogen, carbon capture, and critical minerals and rare earth elements.
Participants are expected to evaluate further steps to strengthen energy cooperation within the OTS framework.
