European Court of Human Rights to consider lawsuit against Armenia

The European Court of Human Rights will consider the case entitled "Artur Hakobyan against the Republic of Armenia", Novosti-Armenia reported.

Lawyers Yervand Varosyan and Lusine Sahakyan appealed to the European Court of Human Rights.

Hakobyan met with the police officers and clashed on June 27, 2009. Hakobyan was beaten and taken to the police department. Hakobyan was accused of using violence and arrested.
