5.3-magnitude quake hits Kuril Islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Kuril Islands at 1937 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, AzVision.az reports, citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 49.22 degrees north latitude and 156.12 degrees east longitude.
