Speaking at a press conference on the results of 2025 and new targets, the agency chairman said that at the same time, a new Family Health Center was established in Barda, and 31 medical stations were merged with medical stations:
“As a result, 110 villages and district centers in the Barda region are covered by 2 Family Health Centers, 34 medical stations and 18 medical stations,” he said.
Aliyev stressed that the process of consolidation has already begun, and this process will cover approximately 3.5 million people.
“In parallel, a database based on the actual place of residence of the population is being developed, which will allow for more accurate planning of services. In order to strengthen the human resource potential, trainings were held in Barda for 60 family doctors on 43 training modules and more than 250 nurses on 10 modules,” he said.
The agency chairman noted that in total, it is planned to optimize 78 Family Health Centers, 871 doctor's stations, 1,168 medical stations and 106 outpatient polyclinic institutions in Baku.
“These measures implemented will increase the accessibility of primary health services, improve the quality of service and automate the optimization of the network,” he added.
