He said that this was an attack on the stability and democracy in Turkey and its people.
“But this will not turn Turkey into a Syria,” he added.
“The investigation is continuing and I won’t release any details, but the main version [of the terrorist act] involves the IS. We are getting close to one name that will show association to the group. The terrorist act in Ankara was an attempt to influence the November 1 elections in order to cast a shadow on them,” Davutoglu said during an interview on Turkey’s NTV television.
