ISIL Believed to Be Main Suspect in Ankara Deadly Blasts - Turkish PM
Investigators into the terrorist attack in Ankara believe the Islamic State was involved, Turkish Prime Minister Ahment Davutoglu said Monday.
On Saturday, two deadly explosions occurred near Ankara`s railway station ahead of an anti-war protest against a surge in violence amid Turkey-Kurdish conflict, killing at least 95 people and injuring some 246.

He said that this was an attack on the stability and democracy in Turkey and its people.
“But this will not turn Turkey into a Syria,” he added.

“The investigation is continuing and I won’t release any details, but the main version [of the terrorist act] involves the IS. We are getting close to one name that will show association to the group. The terrorist act in Ankara was an attempt to influence the November 1 elections in order to cast a shadow on them,” Davutoglu said during an interview on Turkey’s NTV television.
