Final documents of CIS summit to help intensify co-op - Kazakh president
The adoption and implementation of the final documents of the summit of CIS Council of Heads of State will allow to intensify the cooperation between the member states, Kazakhstan
He made the remarks during the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in a narrow format.

Nazarbayev noted that the agenda of this meeting includes 17 issues, adding that a large section has been dedicated to the issues related to ensuring security, law and order.

“It is planned to sign a package of international agreements, approve the policy documents, as well as adopt the statement of CIS heads of state on fighting the international terrorism, as well as on the 70th anniversary of the UN,” he added.

The president said that since the founding of the CIS, Kazakhstan supported and continues to support the intensification of multilateral cooperation between the member states.

It is a universal platform bringing together 11 post-Soviet states and it has no analogues, he added.

“Here, we can exchange views on the most urgent problems of the international politics, discuss any issues related to our multilateral cooperation,” said Nazarbayev.
