Turkey reduces oil imports
Oil imports in January 2013 decreased by 11 percent compared to the same month of 2012
Oil imports into Turkey in January 2013 decreased by 19 percent compared to the previous month, amounting to 1.23 million tons, a report of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EPDK) says on Thursday.

According to the report, oil imports in January 2013 decreased by 11 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
Imports of diesel fuel in January decreased by 5.2 percent, while in annual terms increased by 11.9 percent up to 574,000 tons.

Exports of gasoline from Turkey in January 2013 decreased by 4.4 percent and amounted to 207,000 tons, aviation fuel - decreased by 13.5 percent - to 152,000 tons. Exports of marine fuel decreased by 44.6 percent -to 105,000 tons.

In January 2013 gasoline exports decreased by 11 percent compared to the same month in 2012, amounting to 207,000 tons. Exports of aviation fuel for the period rose by 8.9 percent and amounted to 152,000 tons, marine fuel during the year decreased by 25.7 percent to 105,000 tons.
