During the meeting Oqtay Asadov spoke about the historically friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, AzVision.az reports citing Azertag.
He said that after gaining independence cooperation is developing in a new plane. The Milli Majlis chairman stressed the importance of such visits at the high level for strengthening ties and expressed confidence that this visit will also promote expansion of ties.
Stressing satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, Kvirikashvili noted that Azerbaijan and Georgia are strategic partners saying that his country is interested in further development of ties with Azerbaijan.
