A 7.3 magnitude earthquake has stuck off the Pacific archipelago of Vanuatu.
The quake hit 46 kilometers (29 miles) northeast of Port-Olry at 11:58 am local time.
No “pacific-wide” tsunami is expected and, hence, no warning has been issued. There is no tsunami threat for Hawaii, either.
