Today Armenia discusses current and former presidents of the republic Serj Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan.

Robert Kocharyan and his family members, who once have nothing became the wealthiest people of Armenia in 10 years, Zhoghovurd Newspaper writes.

From the first half of the 90s of the last century, Robert Kocharyan enriched his revenues at the expenses of Aghdam.

Aram Sargsyan, the chairman of the leading Republican Party has also confessed the fact of Kocharyan`s plundering Aghdam region of Azerbaijan.

During his presidential term, Kocharyan turned the country into a corruption swamp and this is the reason why KOCHARYAN MONOPOLY in the country.

Kocharyan controls the most profitable areas such as customs, import of oil and gasoline, export of metals and air transportation. The revenues from these areas flow into his pocket. He also has numerous banks, manufacturing enterprises, medical and recreation centers, construction companies and network of stores.

Facts prove that, this couple have formed a system based in corruption that, state officials can easily take great advantage. It is very easy for Armenian high ranking officials to `earn` money by misusing their posts.One of the main reasons of Armenia`s default is increasing corrupt activities of high ranking officials.

Robert Kocharyan and Serj Sargsyan are authors of the corrupted system. In order to be richer Sargsyan tries to prolong its presidential term. The country will hold a referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Armenia on December 6. The amendments suggest transitions to a parliamentary system of government. Opponents claim, Sargsyan only seeks to `eternalize` his and ruling Republican Party’s rule.

In case the amendments to constitution adopted, Sargsyan will be the either speaker of the parliament or the prime minister. It means, the government plunder process in Armenia will continue. That’s why, displeased by the amendments people hold rallies and the scale of the political conflict expands.
