These are London`s gang territories in a single map
Earlier this week, maps were released which claimed to detail the territory currently occupied by gangs in London.
To help ease browsing of the territories, we have compiled the maps into one interactive, below:



The maps were published online following comments by Daniel Birmingham, formerly in charge of a gangs unit for the Metropolitan police, who told Sky News that police have “lost control” of the streets and called on City Hall to take action.

These gangs are in open warfare. London is in peril and Boris should stand up.

The Metropolitan Police said in a statement in response:

It is the Met`s priority to make London one of the safest capitals in the world.

Over recent years the murder rate has fallen consistently and in 2014 it fell below 100 murders per calendar year for the first time since the 1970s.

Any suggestion that the Met is failing to tackle gang crime is an inaccurate reflection of the work being carried out on a daily basis by officers.
