Code of Parliamentary Ethics can be adopted in Azerbaijan
A public debate on the adoption of the Code of Ethics of a deputy of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will be launched on 15 April.
The statement came from chairman of the disciplinary committee of Milli Majlis Siyavush Novruzov.

Commenting on the proposals of deputy Ali Huseynli on the development of the Code of Ethics of a deputy, Novruzov noted that this question is very relevant.

"Representatives of international organizations, as well as members of the disciplinary committee of Milli Majlis will join the debates”, said Novruzov, noting that many countries already have such codes.

"The activity of a deputy is not limited to the walls of the parliament. Much also depends on how he behaves in the society, among the voters”, Novruzov said, expressing the hope that the code of parliamentary ethics will be adopted by results of debates in Azerbaijan.
