The priority areas for future cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic were determined following the second meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation in Baku.

A relevant protocol was signed by the co-chairmen, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Niyazi Safarov and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Jiri Havlicek following the completion of the committee meeting.

Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic have a great potential for further development of cooperation, in particular in the fields of energy, mining, processing, transport, health and others,` Havlicek added.
