US sues Iran
The United States has sued the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Naval Force before The Hague.

Announcing the news, IRGC Naval Force Commander Ali Fadavi said all Iran has of weapons and equipment at sea is to destroy American warships, Fars news agency reported November 3.

“We announce publically that we will not have insecurity caused by any country,” he asserted.

“The US is trying to get back to Iran. We should be worried about infiltration among officials because the US is looking forward to that,” Fadavi said.

The deputy commander of the IRGC Naval Force Brig-Gen Alireza Tangsiri on October 13 said that his forces are ready to conduct suicidal attacks against the US warships in the Persian Gulf.

The US Navy accompanied four American-flagged ships and a British vessel moving through the Strait of Hormuz at the mouth of the Gulf on April 30, and officials said the US will render assistance to any other nation concerned about interference from Iranian vessels.

The Iranian Navy ensures security of Strait of Hormuz, as well as Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf, the Islamic Republic’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari recently said, adding that there is no need for US navy to escort their ships in the region.
