CIS international financial and banking forum opens in Minsk
CIS international financial and banking forum "Minsk business meetings" has opened in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, the press service of the Minsk-based CIS headquarters told.
The event involves representatives of government agencies, banking and business structures of the CIS countries, as well as international development institutions, including those from Europe and Asia. The business program of the event includes a variety of issues, particularly development of the financial markets in the CIS countries, support for exports and attraction of investment in the economy of the commonwealth, crisis in the financial and banking sector. The experts will discuss new priorities of investment cooperation as an additional possibility of financial and economic cooperation and instruments to reduce the risks in the new economic realities.

A special session titled ‘The new banking technologies and products in the CIS countries" will focus on current trends in the development of national and cross-border payments, new possibilities of international cooperation in the field of payment and future of the market, transfers and payments.

The forum is organized by the Financial and Banking Council of CIS together with JSC "Belarusbank" in partnership with the Council of Ministers of Belarus, CIS Executive Committee, VTB Bank and the Association of Belarusian banks.
