IS members arrested in Antalya, amid G20 leaders summit there
The members of the IS terrorist organization ("Islamic State") have been arrested in Antalya, where the summit of the leaders of the G20 member countries is to be held.
An anti-terrorist operation by local police forces resulted in arrest of 20 IS members, Turkish Haber7 newspaper reported Nov. 6.

The citizenship of the detainees was not revealed.

The newspaper report said security measures in Antalya are being strengthened.

The summit of leaders of the G20 member countries in Antalya is scheduled to be held November 15-16.

The IS remains a threat for Turkey, according to the country`s officials. On Nov. 6 as many as 41 Moroccan citizens were detained at the international airport of Istanbul on suspicion of having ties with the IS.

On Oct. 10, Turkey was hit with two explosions, the death toll of which reached 97 people, over 240 people got injured. At the time, Turkey`s National Intelligence Organization said the IS stood behind the attack.
