Georgian authorities will assess and compensate the damage inflicted by strong winds, heavy rains, snowfalls and glazed frost, local news website Georgia-Online quoted Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri as saying Nov. 13.
“Unfortunately, there are problems in many regions due to the disaster,” he said.

“Damage will be assessed, and Georgian government will fully make up the harm inflicted to infrastructure,” he explained.

Movement of vehicles in some regions of Georgia, including Svaneti, Imereti, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Adjara, has been restricted due to bad weather.
